I found my tutorial from Pinterest for the 5 minute scarf. I did learn a few things:
- No matter how cute the fabric is, purchase knit fabric that has some stretch too it. It prevents it from sticking up too much or being stiff.
- Sewing the edges can take more fabric than you think if you are new, so cut the fabric longer than you think you need. You can always trim it later.
I cut my fabric 22" wide, but I think next time I will cut it skinnier and longer.
Sew the cut edges together long ways wrong side out. After that is completed, turn it right side out and stitch one end. Put the scarf on and see if you like the length. Once you are happy, sew the 2 ends together and you are good to go.
